Korean beauty products have had the beauty industry in a chokehold for nearly a decade. Why?
Because they are effective and cute! The packaging pulls you in and the ingredients make you stay. But let’s dive a little deeper. Here are my fav korean beauty products and my top 3 reasons to get into k-beauty!
the nature feel - Korean beauty products take all the best parts of the plants we never knew we needed. Things like propolis and snail mucin never entered the mainstream ingredient list until K-Beauty entered the chat.
the dewy look - k-beauty products are almost exclusively water based. Since most people are suffering from some kind of skin dehydration/dryness, incorporATIng korean products typically means your skin getting the amount of water it needs for the first time ever. This can address concerns such as texture and hyperpigmentation more effectively.
the price point - the appeal of the $2 sheet mask and $20 skin care ampoule is undeniable. It is somewhat easy to build an afforadable routine (of you have minimal concerns) when shopping the K-beauty aisle.
