for the safety of our clients, all new clients are required to begin their journey with the new client facial in order to have their skin and home care routine fully assessed.

for the most optimal results, we recommend booking your skin care services on a schedule of every 4-6 weeks.

in order to experience the full benefits of a facial treatment, we recommend wearing sunscreen every day. this fortifies and protects the skin in preparation for any services.

to prevent skin sensitivity, please discontinue the use of retinol, retinoid or prescription products (tretinoin, clindamycin, etc.) 1 week leading up to your session.

please avoid the use of harsh exfoliating acids (lactic, glycolic, etc.) 1 week out from your scheduled session.

An automated text message will be sent to you 15 minutes before your session with a check-in link. This link works the same exact way as a doorbell would to alert Essence of your arrival at the front door.
As the link can only be used once, please DO NOT click it unless you are at the front door of Phenix Salon Suites.
aftercare

following your session, you should be changing your pillowcase, replacing any wash cloths and keeping the skin extremely hydrated.
It is normal to see some purging or minor breakouts following your session, especially if deep extractions were performed. Be extremely vigilant with your sunscreen.

do not wet your face for 12 hours following your session. avoid steamy showers and sweating.
change your pillowcase and linens.
purging is normal as a chemical peel is deep exfoliation and can cause congestion from deep in the skin to come to the surface. do not pick at your skin.
a dry, tight or crusty feeling is normal. apply a hydrating toner, sheet mask and/or thick moisturizer throughout the day to calm the skin.
avoid direct sun exposure. wear hats, sunscreen and face coverings when going outside.
if you experience any intense burning or rashes, contact us immediately.
